On the scene for the past 13 years, DJ Revise lives up to his moniker — he is never one to rest on his accomplishments and is always changing his game. The Honolulu Weekly writes, “A music tech-head by nature and necessity, settling for less does not exist in his world.” Indeed, whether it’s Serato, music video mixing, or midi functions, Revise keeps up with it all. He will never limit himself to being one kind of DJ and has a way of putting a personal twist on mixing.
From hip-hop to dance mixes and more, Revise holds down residencies at SoHo Mixed Media Bar and Blue Ocean Thai in addition to numerous past residences and regular guest spots all over the island. He’s opened for the likes of Nas and Scarub of Living Legends with Revise’s complete list of musical accomplishments being far too long to list. The most important thing you need to know is that he’ll never leave you high and dry. He’ll always give you lots to grab onto and enjoy.
