Dancers Unlimited is a young dance company that has already proven itself to the world. Having performed at the 2010 Shanghai World Expo and appeared in a major film production in Beijing, Dancers Unlimited shattered the bonds that come with residing on an isolated island. Then, with the challenges of breaking through and thrill of success fresh on their minds, the group added the perhaps most noteworthy notch to its belt – founding the influential local festival, National Dance Week Hawaii.
Aimed at providing opportunities to young dancers, Dancers Unlimited strives to create a network of creative advocates for positivity and humanity. Providing free and affordable dance classes and workshops is one way Dancers Unlimited walks the walk, not just talks the talk. The company’s professional dancers range in style from popping and locking to house to breakdancing and more.
Dancers Unlimited has presented original work at The Contemporary Museum in Honolulu, Hawaii State Art Museum, Hawaii Theatre and various festivals on Oahu. At this year’s Hallowbaloo, the group performs at
The Octopus's Garden on the Grandest Spectacle Stage. Stop by and take a swim with Dancers Unlimited. It will surely be as refreshing and invigorating as a dip in pristine Pacific waters.
